Phase I
Phase I, The CCA Athletic Field, was completed in August 2004. The total cost of the new athletic field including grading, sod, benches, bleachers, and goals was $107,000. CCA Field was paid for entirely by cash contributions made to Covenant Christian Academy. The new field is currently being utilized for physical education, recess, athletic practices and varsity boys' and girls' soccer games. CCA Field became the home field for Girls' Soccer in March 2005 and Boys' Soccer in August 2005. The 2006-2007 Boys' Soccer team qualified for the the GCAA state semifinal held in Valdosta, GA in October 2006. Covenant Christian Academy placed third place in the state during that season. In addition, the 2006-2007 Girls' Soccer team won a GCAA region and state championship. Tommy Sims and Lindsey Spain both signed athletic scholarships in the 2006-2007 school year to play soccer for Reinhardt College. The new field is already paying dividends!

Phase II
Phase II, The CCA Gymnasium and Auditorium, had its Grand Opening in November 2005 This exciting new facility has provided Covenant with a long-awaited site for CCA home basketball and volleyball games, and indoor physical education and recess classes. In addition to a full court and athletic locker rooms, the building includes a stage and adequate space for school wide gatherings such as talent shows and graduations. Additional expansion space is incorporated into the overall building plan. The facility has been used for the Spring Talent Shows as well. In addition the facility is now being utilized for Kindergarten and Senior graduation ceremonies.

Phase III
A dirt road connected to the school parking lot was completed in April 2006 providing access to the back of the campus. This road has provided more accessibility to the soccer field. In addition, Covenant acquired a small tract of land on Post Road from Comstock Homes in October 2006. This land provides for more road access and a buffer between the neighbor's property. A sign has been added to the stone wall that was acquired as well. The campus received a fresh look during the Summer of 2008!! The 5 Classroom Buildings received Exterior and Interior Painting as well as new carpet and tile floors. SPLOST VI was passed in Forsyth County in February 2008. The funds collected through the SPLOST tax will be utilized to widen Post Road from Highway 9 to Kelly Mill Road. In addition, there will be intersection improvements at Dickerson and Post Road. A traffic light will be added at this intersection too. Our neighbor, Comstock Homes, will be adding sewer that will pass through the middle of the Covenant property. As a result, Forsyth County has approved for the pond to be drained and filled. We do not know the dates that Forsyth County or Comstock Homes expect to work on these projects yet, but will let you know as soon as Forsyth County and Comstock Homes notifies the school.

Phase IV
